Delete your account

You can delete your GroceryX account in the app or by email. This is what happens next.

In the app

  1. Settings
  2. Delete account

Open Settings, choose Delete account and confirm.

Without the app

Send a request through the contact form. Choose “Delete my account” and give the email address of your GroceryX account.

What is deleted

  • Your account
  • All your receipts and their photos
  • Your price history

When

At onceThe account is disabled.
For 30 daysYour data is kept so the account can be restored. To restore it, write to support.
After 30 daysYour data is erased permanently.

What is kept

Corrections you made to receipt lines. They are kept with no link to you.

Signed in with Apple?

Deleting your account does not remove GroceryX from your Apple ID. To remove it on iPhone:

  1. Settings
  2. Your name
  3. Sign-In & Security
  4. Sign in with Apple
  5. GroceryX
  6. Stop Using Apple ID

Or sign in at account.apple.com and open Sign-In and Security → Sign in with Apple.
