01Agreement
These terms govern your use of the GroceryX app and website, which are operated by CodedInn Intl OÜ, an Estonian private limited company (registry code 14391257), Paepargi tn 47-9, Lasnamäe district, Tallinn, Harju county, 11417, Estonia (“we”). By creating an account or using GroceryX you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02Your account
You can sign in with email and password, Google or Apple. Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or by contacting support. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
03Using GroceryX
Use the app for your own household’s purchases. Scan only receipts that belong to you or that you have the right to scan.
Do not upload unlawful content, try to break or overload the service, scrape it, reverse engineer it, or access other users’ data. Do not submit false receipts to distort the shared price data. We may suspend access if you do.
04Your receipts and corrections
You keep ownership of your receipts and photographs. You give us a limited licence to store and process them, including with AI providers, solely to run GroceryX for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If price sharing is on, anonymised aggregates of your receipts also contribute to Insights for other users. You can turn this off in Settings. Corrections you make to receipt lines may be kept without a link to you, to improve how receipts are read.
05Prices and deals shown in the app
Receipts are read by software, and mistakes happen. Check each receipt on the Verify screen. When GroceryX is unsure, it asks or leaves a line out instead of guessing, but we cannot guarantee that every line, product match or figure is correct.
Insights and Deals near you show prices printed on other users’ receipts. They are past facts, not offers. A price may no longer apply, and a store may charge something else. Cheaper-store comparisons are informational and based only on the receipts we have. GroceryX is not a coupon service, and it is not financial advice.
06Price and payment
GroceryX is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price and terms before you pay, and your existing free features will not be charged without your agreement.
Third-party fees, such as your mobile data or the Apple Pay and App Store terms, are your own responsibility.
07Ending your use
You can stop using GroceryX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service, or if we stop offering the service. If we do the latter, we will give you reasonable notice where possible.
08Liability
GroceryX is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, CodedInn Intl OÜ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for decisions you make based on prices or insights shown in the app, or for errors in how a receipt was read. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using GroceryX after a change, you accept the new terms.
